How to Fix Gemini Not Working in Gmail

  1. Verify Gemini availability in your region. Open Gmail and look for the Gemini sparkle icon in the compose window or sidebar. Gemini for Gmail requires specific regional availability and may not be accessible in all countries.
  2. Check your Google account type and settings. Navigate to myaccount.google.com and verify you're using a personal Google account or supported Workspace account. Click Privacy & personalization, then select Ad personalization. Ensure personalized ads are enabled, as Gemini requires certain data processing permissions to function properly.
